The roots of Mount Olympus and the town of Litochoro, are in a distance of around 20 kilometres away from the centre of Katerini.
Katerini, lies between the plain of Pieria and Mt. Olympos, vegetation is lush and many springs cross that plain.
The most pleasant spot of Katerini is great park in town centre. It’s very well maintained and it’s great to be there especially on hot summer days.
